Hassan Yebda: “We must win over Morocco on March 27”

Match against Morocco on March 27 (to take place in May 19 Stadium, Annaba, east of Algeria), for qualifications to Africa Cup of Nations 2012 will be resolved physically, Algerian international and Italian club Naples player Hassan Yebda said.

Algeria team midfielder asserted, in a statement to the National Radio here on Friday, that the match will end in favor of the team which will be physically present before talking about the desire to win and the tactical aspect of the game.

“Due to the importance of this match, both teams will give their best to win the third points and realize a victory because it will be decisive for them. Faltering is forbidden during this match. I am thinking a lot about this important match. It is decisive for the Desert Warriors and for Algerian fans; this is why we must be careful because a defeat means exclusion”, Desert Warrior N°19 added.

“Psychological pressure cannot influence the payers because they know very well how to deal with such situations. I am sure that pressure is an advantage not a drawback. It is the right time to end the negative results which chased the Algerian team since Angola Africa Cup 2010”.

“We hope May 19 stadium in Annaba will be good because we played most of our matches in July 5 and Blida stadiums. I am happy to visit the city and stadium for the first time in my life. I wish the ground will be good and suitable for showing a good performance”.

After two Africa Cup rounds, Algeria ranks last with Tanzania with one point and  negative difference after the draw before Tanzania (1-1) and defeat before the Republic of Central Africa (0-2).

Morocco ranks second in the group with four points after playing two matches home before Central Africa Republic (0-0) and Tanzania (0-1).

Republic of Central Africa is top of the list having realized the largest points.
